A Recovery Center Near Indianapolis — Six Modalities, One Roof

Private rooms — cold plunge, infrared sauna, red light, PEMF & mild HBOT.

Most recovery studios near Indianapolis give you one tool — a cold tub, or a sauna. Ozwell gives you six, in a dedicated recovery suite on the Monon Trail in Carmel, a short drive north of the city. Contrast a cold plunge with an infrared sauna, add red light or compression boots, and finish in the hyperbaric chamber — all on one membership, or a single day pass.

Six modalities — and five are private

Most recovery spots near Indianapolis put you in a shared room. At Ozwell, the cold plunge, infrared sauna, red light, PEMF, and hyperbaric chamber are each a private room you book like a class — just you, the door closed. Only the compression lounge is open seating. Here's the full suite, and what members use each one for:

  • Cold plunge — a private cold-water immersion room, used after hard training or to reset a foggy morning.
  • Infrared sauna — your own private sauna: deep, radiant heat for a longer, lower-temperature sweat than a traditional sauna.
  • Red light / LED therapy — a private room of targeted red and near-infrared light, popular for skin and post-workout soreness.
  • PEMF — a private PEMF bed members pair with stretching to wind down.
  • Mild hyperbaric oxygen (mHBOT) — a private, pressurized-oxygen chamber, booked by the session.
  • Compression boots — dynamic air compression that flushes tired legs; the compression lounge is our one shared, open-seating space.

The classic combination is contrast therapy — alternating the private infrared sauna and cold plunge. New to it? Start with our contrast therapy guide.

The honest version of what recovery does

We won't oversell it. Recovery tools aren't magic, and the research behind each one is at a different stage. What most members feel is real but simple: they sleep a little better, bounce back faster between hard sessions, and enjoy the ritual of winding down. Use them as a consistent habit around your training — not as a substitute for the basics. If you're pregnant or have a heart condition or other medical concern, check with your doctor before cold plunge, sauna, or HBOT.

Every modality has its own page with a plain-English "what it helps with" and an honest look at the science — start at the recovery suite overview.
