Same race, bigger day. Grab a partner, split the stations, and stay afterward for recovery, smoothies, and the rest of the crew finishing.
Registration isn't open yet. Join the list and you'll be first to know when it is — August racers get it before anyone else.
The half format: all eight HYROX stations, but the runs are cut in half — 500m between each station instead of the full 1km — taken on with a partner. Split the work however you want — one clock runs the whole time. Coaches scale every weight and rep, so a first-timer and a competitor can line up in the same heat. It's a full HYROX with the running halved, which is why a good time here is in the thirties rather than the hour-plus a full HYROX takes.
All eight HYROX stations, in race order — a half does every one of them. The only difference is the running: 500m between each station instead of the full 1km.
Heats go off in waves with your team's start time assigned in advance. New to it? That's the majority of the field — every team that started in August finished, and the fastest went 32:20.
The biggest thing we heard after round one was the run. This time the course goes through our own parking lot, and we're managing it properly: cars moved and the lot cleared before the first heat, the route widened so outbound and returning runners aren't fighting for the same line, and marshals keeping the traffic flowing at the turns. No bottlenecks, no dodging bumpers — just run.
Round one told us people wanted to stay. So this time, finishing isn't the end of your afternoon — come back inside, get in the plunge or the sauna, grab your protein shake, and wait for your friends to come across. Heats run all afternoon, so there's always someone still out there to cheer in.
Our full recovery floor is open to racers as an add-on — the fastest way to feel human again, and the best part of racing at a club that has all of it under one roof. One flat $35 covers any of it — it just comes down to what's free when you finish.
A post-race protein smoothie waiting when you finish, plus snacks and drinks available all afternoon so nobody has to leave to eat.
Our child care room is open for the event, so you can race and recover without needing a sitter. Places are capped by what the room can safely hold, so book when you register rather than turning up on the day.
You don't have to bolt for the car the second the clock stops. The club stays open to racers all afternoon — plunge, sauna, shake in hand, comparing splits with people who just did the same thing you did, waiting for the last heats to come through. That's the part everyone asked for after August, and it's the reason we're running a longer window this time.
Entry gets you the race. Everything after the finish line is optional — pick what you want when you register.
